The new academic year has started with the instructions of Unlock-2 issued by the Government of India and the resolution dated 5/6/2020 shown in the preamble 1 of the Education Department of the Government of Gujarat in the current extraordinary circumstances of the epidemic of Novel Corona Virus (KOVID-19). But in the month of July 2020, i.e. from 1/7/2020. Students are not required to attend school during this HOME LEARNING period up to 31/7/2020. During this period it is decided to provide Food Security Allowance under mid-day meal.

The cooking cost amount of food security allowance fixed by the head teacher / SMC of the school has to be deposited in the bank account of the students / parents. Also, keeping in view the local circumstances, the social distance should be maintained strictly as per the guidelines of the Government and the work of distribution of foodgrains should be completed in consultation with the District Primary Education Officer Supply System with the cooperation of local school teachers and mid-day meal center administrators.

All the registered students of the primary school where the mid-day meal scheme is being implemented will have to send the daily report on the distribution of foodgrains on a daily basis and the amount of cooking cost paid and the latest details in the prescribed form to the email here. As well as the prescribed sample form shown here on the Mid-day Meal Yojana website Google Drive, the food distributed daily and the amount deposited in the bank account of the student / guardian should be given. Accounts at school and taluka / district level should be kept up to date for the purpose of audit.

The distribution of foodgrains from the quantity of foodgrains allotted by the Government of India in the first and second quarters of the year 2020-21 for the mid-day meal scheme has to be completed within the time limit as per the method prescribed for distribution of foodgrains at the district level. Social distance must be maintained strictly and the instructions of the health department must be followed. In addition, this work is to be completed within the time limit as per the provisions of National Food Security Act 2017 and Mid-day Meal Scheme Rules-2016. District / Taluka office will have to supervise this matter. This matter is requested to be given top priority.
